Dream-Sent Characters

What to hear my new nightmare? Obnoxious green caterpillars, complete with long white hairs, currently devour my garden. Damn it, I planted the basil, hence I should eat the basil. Those little bastards want a free dinner on me.

I haven’t experienced a scary dream about those undulating monsters yet, but I suspect a nightmare is on the way. Sadly I’m more about nightmares than dreams. Tornadoes, tidal waves, navigating weird arching bridges over churning waves, driving across flooding bridges— just call me the Queen of the Anxiety Dream. My subconscious is in constant disaster flick mode.

So. How do you like your coffee? We switched to a French press over the winter after our drip sprung a leak. I'm not any kind of coffee snob, but a black pressed coffee in the morning is a delicious way to start the day.
