Oh how that word has a new meaning when in a certain context. I myself am fascinated with the many multicolored, uniquely shaped and variously flavored adult toys that fill the shelves (or webpage) of any retailer of the sensual persuasion. What intrigue to be had? What wicked wishes can be fulfilled? A buffet of toys to titillate and arouse that inner sexual being. I'm not just talking about the astro glide and vibrator. I'm exposing the plugs, cock rings and restraints…Oh my!

It's been a while since I posted videos, but this caught my eye and entertained me through the beginnings of my traditional Christmas cold. It's books! It's orgasms! It's reading with vibrators! There's a whole Hysterical Literature playlist that will keep you entertained for the holidays!
Hello and welcome to the online tour of Mindscape! Thank you for joining me here on my second stop, and thank you to Cup O’ Porn for having me.
First, a quick note about the giveaway. I’m raffling off three $10 Amazon.com gift certificates at the end of this tour. For a chance to win, simply comment on this post with an answer to the following question: if your mind was a landscape, what would it look like? Winners will be picked randomly from all tour stops, and will be announced on 12/29. Drop me a comment at each stop to increase your chances of winning!
In the meantime, let me tell you a little bit about my own mindscape.

Hey folks! This week, Leta Blake was here talking about her latest release and treated us to a few deleted scenes and a snippet to whet our appetites for her latest release, Training Season. She also brought with her a couple of digital copies of Training Season for our Free-For-All random drawing. So, the winners are...

On Wednesday I was a giant tease by posting a deleted scene from my latest book Training Season [link back to the post]. Today, I’ll tease no more. I’m excited to give away two copies of the book to the wonderful Cup o’ Porn readers! Just leave a comment below with your name and contact information for a chance to win!
In addition to this opportunity for a free book, I’ll leave you with another deleted snippet. (Woe! So much is sacrificed for good story flow! Sadness!) This time, it’s not a sexy scene, but it is sweet and gives a wonderful look at the main characters.
In order to enjoy the scene, there’s no need to know much at all about the book. Rob is a rancher and Matty is a professional figure skater who, for many reasons, is entirely out of his element on a ranch. I think you can glean anything else you need to know from the scene itself.

Now that I’ve opened a nice bottle of Chianti (sans the fava beans and liver) let’s get on with my whine.
her permissions policy here
Revision is hard, y’all. As a writer, sometimes I’ll write something and I’ll just love it to pieces. Maybe it’s a super cute interaction, or maybe it’s a ridiculously hot sex scene, but when it comes down to the editing it ends up on the cutting room floor.

Welcome to the blog tour for Christmas Kitsch, a full length novel featured in Riptide's Home for the Holidays Christmas bundle. The story focuses around Rusty Baker, a once spoiled rich kid who finds himself homeless for the holidays, because he fell in love with Oliver Campbell, his best friend from high school.
In honor of their rather rocky beginning in the crappy apartment with the hand-me-down furniture, I went back to my own roots with my beloved Mate. In the course of the blog tour, I'll be sharing some highlights (and low-lights) of my first year with Mate--and how I drew on that to write Rusty and Oliver, and hopefully you'll see why these guys are so very close to my heart.

First of all, let’s hear it for serendipity! When I agreed to be here today, I knew I was going to have a new release sometime in the early part of December, but I didn’t know exactly when. Now I do -- it’s today! So just let me shamelessly pimp for a minute and then I’ll settle down, I promise. *smirks just a little* My new baby is Heart of the Oak, from Ellora’s Cave’s “Boys Will Do Boys” series, and it’s also the first in my Tales from the Grove series. (Buy link is at the end of the article!) I love writing the Grove stories, they’re such a complete change of pace from my Fae. I suppose they’re both technically “urban” fantasy, as in contemporary fantasy, but the Fae are actually urban – most of the action in the SoulShares novels is set in either Washington, D.C. or New York City – while the Grove stories, and the Gille Dubh at the heart of them, are set in the most untouched parts of Scotland I can find. The Gille Dubh are tree spirits, and they live in a world to which magick is slowly returning, after being stolen thousands of years before. And their stories flow like poetry, or at least that’s what they feel like to me. (Fae, on the other hand, are decidedly unpoetic. Yeah, that’s a good word. Unpoetic.)
